We are looking to recruit to this crucial role within the Exchequer Services Team of the Finance Department. This is a great opportunity to be involved in and support the work of the team. Your key responsibilities will include:
preparing batches regarding customer and supplier invoices and assisting in resolving disputes arising from those invoices.
Preparing sales invoices for customers, issuing reminders and making referrals to Litigation as part of the credit control procedures.
Dealing with queries from expense claimants and undertaking checks of personal expense claims and taking corrective action as necessary.
Liaising with customers and suppliers in relation to invoice payments.
Verifying invoices received from suppliers in respect of the calculations contained within them, particularly regarding VAT and CIT.
Applicant must possess GSCE Maths and English and although not essential, ideally hold a finance related qualification. In addition, other essential requirements include:
Proven ability to work accurately to tight deadlines and previous experience working in a similar environment.
Proficient in the use of using Microsoft packages including Word and Excel.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of people in a clear and accurate manner.
Highly organised with good time management skills.
