Finance Manager

NLB Solutions are working with an organisation that are looking for a qualified accountant to join a finance team working alongside the Head of Finance as a Finance Manager. The role is to work remotely but needs to be available for onsite meetings when required. The role is an all-round finance one that has duties to include management accounts production, statutory accounts as well as monthly reporting and managing a small transactional team. The organisation has a team that is supportive and offers mentoring that will help develop the right person into a long-term asset and a valued team member. The Head of Finance will be looking to this individual for support for audits and the budgeting process when they have settled into the role. Duties: * Prepare monthly management accounts. * Prepare month/year end accounting journals. * Resolve general finance queries for the business. * Debt management. * Managing two staff members. * Preparation of statutory accounts. * Lead for external audit. * Management of the Purchase and Sales Ledgers * Coordinate monthly reconciliations and Balance sheet reviews and corrections where necessary. * Prepare and present the monthly financial controls. * Review and approve payments. Person Spec: * Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) * 3 years experience in a similar role * Happy to work remotely with occasional travel to other site
