Credit Control Manager

Credit Control Manager Coventry (Office Based, Full Time) Consult Energy are seeking a skilled and motivated Credit Control Manager to lead a collections team, driving performance and ensuring the timely recovery of debt. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a high-performing team, deliver excellent customer service, and achieve collection targets. Credit Control Manager - Key Responsibilities: * Maximise debt recovery while delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external clients. * Lead and manage the team, ensuring daily and weekly cash collection and debtor day targets are met. * Oversee complex and escalated queries, identifying root causes and implementing improvements. * Drive aged debt reduction and ensure financial controls are maintained. * Allocate workloads, provide regular feedback, and manage performance through 1-2-1s and team meetings. * Champion company culture, values, and behaviours, leading by example. * Coach, mentor, and develop team members, identifying training needs and opportunities for growth. Credit Control Manager - Skills & Experience: * 2+ years of credit control experience. * Proven track record of achieving set targets in a credit control environment. * Strong communication, customer service, and leadership skills. * Ability to manage workload, resolve conflicts, and propose process improvements. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Knowledge of the gas or electricity industry is desirable but not essential.
