Job Opportunity: Transactional Finance Administrator Location: Widnes Head Office WA8 0GG Salary: £24k Suttons International are a Family-owned global logistics business, seeking a Transactional Finance Administrator to join our Head Office in Widnes. This is a permanent role with hybrid working (a mixture of both office and working from home). The Role Delivering administrative excellence within the International Credit Control & Purchase Ledger function in Widnes. You will be actively managing administration activity within Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, supporting both the Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger Team. Key Accountabilities Completing New Account Requests and system set up of new customers Completing New supplier requests and system set up of new suppliers Daily banking and allocations on the ledgers Credit checking new customers Manual Invoice requests via Sage Adding Credit notes to RAM & Sage (internal software systems) Managing team group email inboxes Weekly Credit Note Analysis Preparing statement for Contra Customers Preparation of backing documentation for sales invoices and uploading to customer portals Support as required other members of International Credit Control/Sales Ledger Team Monthly bank reconciliations and transfers Processing monthly contract tank hire Logging queries on the global query log Daily and weekly imports and invoice validation Statement recognition Registration of AP invoices Completing Weekly & urgent payment runs Any other ad hoc administrator duties Skills & Experience Required Educated to GCSE level or equivalent which must include Maths and English required Minimum 2 years financial administration experience in a business-to-business environment Well-developed IT Skills, with a working experience in Excel, Word and Outlook International and/or logistics/manufacturing experience an advantage Reward & Benefits Flexible hybrid working Competitive salary Holiday allowance of 25 days plus Bank Holidays Buy/sell holidays option Pension scheme Bonus potential Free onsite parking Enhanced Maternity and Paternity leave Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) and Health Support Birthday off Long-service rewards Refer a Friend scheme Various company discounts and perks Note: All offers of employment are subject to a Basic DBS check and Drug and Alcohol Testing.
