Credit Controller

Hybrid Recruit are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller for a client based in Castleford. The Credit Controller will be responsible for reducing the debt owed to the company through customer contact, working with all areas of the business to facilitate query resolution and ensuring timely collection of monies owed. Responsibilities of the Credit Controller: Ensure timely collection of debt Investigating and resolving any queries internally and externally Day to day management of the Credit Control Inbox Forecasting cash in dates to facilitate cashflow Update & maintain ledgers accurately Maintaining customer master data Customer account set ups & credit check reports Build & maintain strong relationships with customers & internal stakeholders across the group Supporting the Finance team with ad hoc tasks and general administration when needed Requirements of the Credit Controller: At least 2 Years experience in a similar role/environment Sage 200 Experience Excel and Microsoft office experience Knowledge of VAT/DRC desirable Ability to work under pressure & to meet tight deadlines Good communication and organisational/time management skills In return, the Credit Controller will receive: Salary: Circa - £25,000 / Year Monday Friday: 08:30-17:00 (40Hrs) Opportunity for hybrid working 2 days at home / 3 days in the office 25 days holiday + bank holidays A days birthday leave to be taken within your birthday month Ability to participate in the Octopus EV salary sacrifice scheme Ability to participate in the Cycle to Work Scheme Employee Assistance Programme Health shield cash plan with discounts on high street stores Free external financial advice offering support for mortgages, pensions and insurances Enhanced family friendly pay Should you be interested in the Credit Controller vacancy, please click Apply Now! with an up-to-date CV.
