Finance Assistant

Morgan McKinley is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant to work for a well established and growing company based in the Guildford, Surrey area. This is a great newly created role for an experienced Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Management Accountant and Head of Finance supporting with month end, everyday transactional accounting etc. Salary: £29-33K Location: Hybrid working, 2-3 days office based, Guildford - Surrey. Parking onsite Hours: 8am-5.30pm Mon - Fri (flexible) Finance Assistant - Assistant Accountant duties: Assist in the preparation of financial analysis, statements and reports Support with month end Preparing journal entries and reconciliations Manage the invoicing and payment processing Assist with the budget and forecast process Maintain the accounts, monitor transactions and update financial systemsSkills and experience: Experience of working in a similar accounting - finance assistant / accounts assistant / assistant accountant type role Good IT skills and experience of using Sage Excellent communication and analytical skillsMorgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency and references to pay rates are indicative.
