Finance Business Analyst -Dashboards

Finance BA Dashboards/NSAW (NetSuite Analytics Warehouse) REMOTE- Oustide IR35 We are currently looking to onboard a Finance BA with experience in dashboarding to work within the Finance team for a well-known professional certification firm on their NSAW (Netsuite Analytics Warehouse) project. This is a contract requirement expected to run to mid-2025 and potentially beyond. The role is fully remote so we are able to consider individuals located anywhere within the UK and this can also be considered outside IR35. Role: The firm use a number of Oracle products and are currently are in the process of rolling out NSAW (Netsuite Analytics Warehouse). In particular they are looking to embed the accountancy and taxation processes into this tool and have a number of deliverables around the implementation of the NSAW tool into the financial ecosystem, ensuring desired standards are achieved and results fall within the applicable scope, quality and agreed timelines of documented milestone planning The Finance BA will be working within the transformation team and will be involved in understanding what the current accountancy team do and creating dashboards in NSAW The ultimate aim is for the accountancy team to be fully leveraging NSAW for financial reporting The BA will need to understand what the accountants would want to see in order to be able to build the dashboards - they will need to understand the system, the current processes and be able to bridge the divide The BA will be an intermediate layer between the user group(s) and development function operating in NSAW. They will be working on requirements for the accounting function, completing all requirements to a pre-determined listing of reports They will be involved in completion of internal templates for documentation and ensuring that the business requirements and metrics are completed for adequate delivery within the developer function They will also be providing the first level testing review on any outputs and ensuring process functional specifications are generated as part of any audit procedure The BA may also have some involvement in NSAW user training and support, documentation and tracking progress across multiple groups They will be accountable for ensuring that any presentation materials and user guides are completed to professional standards and updated in line with progression of the platform in the business process There will subsequently be various nuances and changes/tweaking until the work eventually goes into BAU Key Experience Required: Stong background dashboard building ideally in NSAW but as this is still relatively new, a dashboard background in Power BI (or similar) should be easily transferable Finance background ideally qualified accountant and/or someone with experience around financial reporting who can understand what the users need Solid Business Analysis skills including good documentation skills Experience with Netsuite/NSAW helpful but not a necessity Strong change skills and ability to bridge the gap between developers and the Finance team Experience in a similar industry i.e. in or relating to professional certification would be preferred but not a necessity
