Chapman Tate Associates is thrilled to partner with a prominent organization in the East Midlands, seeking an experienced Finance ERP Consultant with a solid manufacturing background to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your financial software expertise within the manufacturing industry to drive efficiency, streamline processes, and support client success.
Location: Remote-based role with occasional travel across the Midlands to client sites.
As the Finance ERP Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing, customizing, and optimizing ERP solutions for our client’s customers. You will focus on finance-related ERP functionalities, working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure software solutions meet the financial reporting and process needs unique to this sector. This is a client-facing role that requires a blend of technical ERP knowledge and hands-on experience in finance and manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead ERP implementations with a focus on financial modules, ensuring alignment with manufacturing processes.
* Customize and configure ERP systems to support financial reporting, accounting processes, and compliance requirements.
* Work closely with finance, production, and supply chain teams to integrate ERP solutions across departments.
* Provide training and support to end-users, helping them fully leverage the ERP system.
* Conduct data analysis and reporting to support financial planning, budgeting, and performance tracking.
* Troubleshoot issues and offer technical solutions that align with client goals.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in an ERP Consultant role, specifically with a focus on financial software.
* A strong background in manufacturing environments, with knowledge of production cycles, supply chain, and cost accounting.
* Hands-on expertise with ERP platforms and financial modules (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
* Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex client needs into efficient ERP solutions.
* Strong communication skills and a consultative approach to customer service.
* Flexibility for occasional travel across the Midlands to visit client sites.
