Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be exclusively recruiting for this Finance Systems Manager position. Our client, a market-leading organisation based in Birmingham, is seeking a talented professional to lead and optimise their finance systems.

The Role

As Finance Systems Manager, you will:

  • Take ownership of the organisation's finance systems, ensuring they align with business needs and objectives.
  • Lead system upgrades, integrations, and improvements to enhance functionality and the user experience.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure seamless system performance and effective reporting solutions.
  • Leverage Power BI to design and deliver insightful financial reports and dashboards, enabling data-driven decision-making.
  • Provide training and support to users, maximising system capabilities and driving efficiencies.


Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Systems Manager or similar, ideally within a large or complex organisation.
  • Strong technical expertise in finance systems, with hands-on experience using and implementing Power BI.
  • A solid understanding of finance processes and how systems can enhance performance.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Degree in accountancy, economics, business etc.
