Role Purpose
We are looking for 2 Council Tax Officers to join a busy team for 3 to 6 months.

Responsibilities

• The Billing work involves moves, discount exemptions, in line with the relevant legislation, correspondence and emails.
• The Collection work will be ensuring cases are progressed from liability order onwards, dealing with bailiff returns, gone away cases, arrangement and default cases, correspondence and emails.
• arget is 6 pieces per hour minimum. Phone work maybe involved.

Requirements

• Experience using Academy IT system is Essential:
• Previous experience working as a Council Tax Officer on both billing and collection is Required.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation.
• Fully remote or a blend of Office/Homeworking available.
• Need to use own IT equipment and download of software for access, Phone will be provided

Contract

• Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract
• PAYE via Umbrella
• Monday to Fridya 9am to 5pm (fully remote)
