Director - Transactional Tax

Working alongside the existing partners, the responsibility for helping design and implement a strategy to support growth will be yours. Advising on transactional tax matters both locally and internationally, you would handle both sides of the deal - due diligence and structuring. What you'll be doing: Due Diligence * Responsible for the delivery of complex tax due diligence assignments * Liaising with colleagues in other specialist tax services and teams from other countries as part of your project-management services * Building strong client relationships through engagements and pursuing opportunities identified through due diligence assignments to assist clients after deal closure M&A Stucturing * Leading on the provision of tax advisory structuring services * Being the main point of contact on a portfolio of M&A tax advisory clients * Owning the overall client relationship, scoping assignments tailored to client's needs, negotiating fees * Ensuring advice is properly reflected in all aspects of the transaction through communication with clients and their lawyers * Collaborating across the wider tax and advisory and consulting teams in identifying opportunities, developing client relationships and supporting other go to market initiatives What you'll require: * A professional qualification - ACA or CTA (or equivalent) * Strong technical knowledge of key tax issues that affect companies and shareholders on a transaction. * Project management skills * Experiene monitoring financial performance, identifying overruns and successfully negotiating fees
