Finance Manager - Fully remote - Up to 42,000

Our client, a global logistics provider with a real dedication to delivering top tier service to their valued clients are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team.

Your responsibilities as Finance Manager will include overseeing end-to-end finance operations, financial planning and analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, as well as ad-hoc projects and requests as and when they come up

Job type: Permanent

Work hours: Monday-Friday

This is a remote position - Individuals who apply must be located in the UK and have the right to work in the UK

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Manage financial planning and budgeting processes
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations
• Monitor cash flow and financial performance
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial compliance
• Provide leadership and guidance to finance team members.
• The role includes overseeing Accounts Receivable.

Specifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4 years proven experience as a Finance Manager.
• Working for a freight forwarder or logistics company
• Based in the UK with right to work in the UK
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
• Must have experience using Cargowise - (Essential - Please demonstrate this in your application)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
• Relevant certification (e.g. CPA, CFA,AAT) is a plus
